Terms of use

What it is. canvaseleitoral is a symbolic, just-for-fun map of Brazil, run by brenovital. Anyone can buy pixels (small squares about 5 km on a side over the map), choose a side and a color, and paint them.

It is not an election poll. The mural and the tally only show how many pixels were bought by those who chose to pay. They do not measure voting intention, have no statistical value and have no connection to candidates, parties, campaigns or the Electoral Court.

Price and purchase. Each pixel costs R$ 0.10 (Brazilian reais). The minimum purchase is 1 pixel and there is no limit on pixels per purchase. Payment is made by Pix or card, processed by Mercado Pago. Pixels are applied to the map after payment is confirmed.

Pixels can be repainted. Anyone can buy an already painted pixel again and change its color. Buying a pixel does not guarantee it will keep your color.

Pixels are symbolic. Painting a pixel over a place on the map gives no ownership, right of use or any relationship with the place, the property or the people there.

Prohibited content. The map only accepts colors, but it is forbidden to use pixels for offensive or discriminatory drawings, drawings that threaten or identify people, or that incite violence. It is also forbidden to use pixels for political propaganda, defamation or any other content prohibited by electoral law on election day. The nickname shown publicly must not be offensive either. If moderation identifies prohibited content, the order may be reported and the related pixels will be removed, without a refund. We may also block inappropriate nicknames at any time. To report a pixel, tap it on the map and use the “Report” link.

Misuse. Fraud, attempts to bypass payment or to attack the site result in the cancellation of the orders involved.
